Short description
One hundred contestants in top physical shape compete in a series of grueling challenges to claim the honor — and cash reward — as the last one standing.
Seasons
What's left behind the scenes
- Yoshihiro Akiyama promised his filming partners that he would invite them to a restaurant for lunch as a token of appreciation, and he kept that promise once filming concluded.
- The end of filming was marred by a scandal. A reporter from an independent publication claimed that the final tug-of-war was filmed three times. According to him, one of the participants lost motivation and the drive to win as soon as they realized they were losing.
