What's left behind the scenes
- For logistical reasons, the entire series was filmed in Budapest and its surroundings. The sets for the 17th-century town and village were built by specialists from Korda Studios. Outdoor shoots were organized in the forests near Budapest, while some indoor scenes were filmed in historical buildings within the Hungarian capital.
