What's left behind the scenes

The faux-leather jumpsuits worn by the bunker residents and the service staff were designed by stylist María del Campo. They decided not to use genuine leather because polyurethane is cheaper, easier to work with, easier to tidy up after filming, and simpler to maintain.
At Netflix's massive studio in Madrid, a filming set covering approximately 650 square meters was constructed specifically for the series.
