What's left behind the scenes
- Filming took place in Moscow, the Caucasian Mineral Waters region, the Elbrus region, and Kamchatka.
- The creators of the series chose an atypical 4:3 aspect ratio to evoke the 1990s and the televisions of that era.
- The song 'Vladimirsky Central' by Mikhail Krug, which plays at the end of the first episode during Natasha and Sasha's wedding, was released in 1998, while the events take place in 1996.
- In the third episode, Katya examines a hundred-dollar bill that Andrey left for her. The inscription 'SERIES 2006' is visible on it, even though the series takes place in 1996.
- In the third episode, Pyotr drives to the port to see a prostitute. The song 'Dolphins' by the band Mumiy Troll is playing in the car, which was released in the fall of 1997, meaning after the events in the series.
