What's left behind the scenes
- Gazza is voiced by Ricky Gervais. His appearance and mannerisms are based on Gervais's former pet, a dog named Ollie, who was given to him in 2003 and lived until 2020.
- Instead of using individual recording booths, Ricky Gervais recorded lines and dialogues during group recording sessions. Many scenes were not written in the script at all, giving the actors freedom to improvise.
