Short description
The ordinary life of an ordinary family from the province: a couple, 2 children, a dog and neighbors. Dasha is a housewife who loves to watch TV shows and go shopping. Her husband, Gena, is a shoe store manager, likes to hang around in the garage and watch football with friends. Their daughter Sveta is a student of high school, changes the guys every week. And their son Roma is playing computer thew whole day and intrigues sister. Bukins quarrel at least once a day - so they have fun. They have been together for 16 years and still love each other. This is the happiest family in the world.

What's left behind the scenes
- Gena and Roma Bukin appear in one of the episodes of the TV series 'Univer' (2008-2011), where Roma tries to pass himself off as Sylvester Sergeev's son, and Gena as his brother.
- Evelina Bledans was initially considered for the role of Dasha Bukina and auditioned for the part. Ultimately, she was deemed too famous. Later, Evelina Bledans appeared in one of the episodes of the fourth season as a guest star.
- A special opening sequence, different from the main one, was filmed for the episode 'Trading Fate for Soap'.
- Natalya Bochkareva, who plays Sveta Bukina's mother, is only 5 years older than Daria Sagalova.
- A monument to the series' hero, Gena Bukin, has been installed in Yekaterinburg.
- On May 4, 2008, a joke delivered by the main character, Dasha Bukina, in the series 'Happy Together'—'I'm going to go paint my breasts for Easter'—sparked a real scandal. The Moscow Patriarchate took offense to the joke, and talk of legal action ensued. In response, Natalya Bochkareva stated that the phrase was not intended to offend the feelings of believers and that she herself is an Orthodox Christian. Nevertheless, no lawsuit followed due to a lack of sufficient grounds.
