Short description

What's left behind the scenes
- The series is based on the Mortal Instruments book series by Cassandra Clare (real name Judith Rumelt).
- The creators of the series did not originally intend for Isabelle to always wear the ruby necklace. The piece of jewelry became a permanent attribute of her look at the request of fans of the film 'The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones' (Harold Windsor, 2013), which the series is a remake of.
