What's left behind the scenes
- Director Mike Cahill is known for his instantly recognizable style. He shoots exclusively using natural light and three cameras.
- Idris Elba was initially considered for the role of Cal Roberts.
- The snake in the scene with Steve and Eddie is a python.
- Rockmond Dunbar's departure from the project was accompanied by some turmoil. It turned out that at the end of the second season, the writers decided to remove his character without even notifying the actor.
