What's left behind the scenes
- A flashback in the first episode shows a young Stephen playing the piano. He plays the musical theme from the original series (1981-1989), which served as the basis for this melodrama.
- Instead of the champagne the characters drink, sparkling mineral water slightly colored with tea was used.
- With the exception of the episodes 'Well-Dressed Tarantula,' 'Line from the Past,' and 'Enter Alexis,' all other titles are references to phrases from the original series (1981-1989). The title of the episode 'Enter Alexis' is a reference to the title of an episode from the second season of the original series.
