What's left behind the scenes
- The surname of the main character, Josh Futturman, echoes the English title of the series, 'Future Man'.
- The series is dedicated to the memory of Glenn Headly, who played Diane Futturman. On June 8, 2017, the actress passed away at the age of 62 due to complications from a pulmonary embolism.
- A steam locomotive is shown in the first episode; however, it is traveling on modern rails and is positioned too high above them for pre-war locomotives.
