What's left behind the scenes
- According to Christine Baranski, the show's creators were able to attract so many Broadway stars to the cast (including Audra McDonald, Nathan Lane, Donna Murphy, Kelly O'Hara, Linda Emon, Katie Finnan, Bill Irwin, Michael Cerveris, Debra Monk, Patrick Page, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Christine Nielsen, and others) because Broadway theaters were closed in March 2020 due to the pandemic.
- According to Dave Itzkoff, Carrie Coon was in her ninth month of pregnancy by the end of filming, and at one point discovered she could no longer wear a corset.
