What's left behind the scenes
- In April 2021, showrunner and writer Christina Lee, along with series creator and producer Alissa Nutting, stated that the sex toy Diana, Herbert's "synthetic companion," owes her appearance to Nutting. She "lent" Diana her own face so that Diana would be perceived as a person rather than an object.
