What's left behind the scenes
- The surname Gallo was not given to the character played by Stefano Cassetti by chance. In Italian, "gallo" means "rooster." It is this character who warns everyone of the approaching, doom-bringing dawn.
- The name of the airline, BE Airlines, is a reference to the designation of the radioactive isotope beryllium-10, which is formed in Earth's atmosphere under the influence of cosmic rays.
