Casting: Actor (Male & Female) required for a short film

Project description

We're looking for actors for a short film to be shot in Mumbai.

Short Film Genre - Drama, Thriller, Fiction

This will be an unpaid project. We are bunch of film enthusiasts who work independently in making films, animation. As of now we can't guarantee a payment for your work since this will be a Non Profit Job for both of us. But in case we generate any monetary benefit out from this project in future, we would certainly share that with our entire team. And that is how we've produced our previous independent short films.

The story has only two lead characters with no supporting actors. The characteristics of both the characters are mentioned below.

Typecasts

Role type Nibaron Karmakar (Male / 41-50 yrs. / Indian) Looking for Male age from 35 to 40 years old Description Nibaron Karmakar – originally a Bengali - is a 47 year old man. Appearance He carries a bulgy tummy with him. He prefers a clean shaved face for his FAKE PROFESSION, of being a SALESMAN, demands that look. You\'ll always find him dressed neatly in plain light coloured shirt, black/grey neatly ironed pants accompanied with a matching tie and shinning black shoes. About Nibaron He, in almost, any sort of situation can maintain his calm. Nibaron is that one person who’ll never panic even if there’s a fire around him. He’ll instead very wisely look for the solution to break out from that situation. Nibaron spends most of his time alone. He’s more of an observer/ good listener and not someone who loves to talk.

Role type Mrs. Advani (Female / 51-60 yrs. / Indian) Looking for Female age from 37 to 42 years old Description Mrs. Advani – originally from Mumbai – is a 52 year old woman. Appearance Looking at her one could easily comment that she must\'ve been real pretty when she was in her late twenties. She still carries those marks of beauty with her; she hasn\'t gained much weight. Her eyes are the real charmer. About Mrs. Advani Mrs. Advani doesn\'t socialize with any of those women in her society, she hardly talks or smiles. Her neighbours hardly know her; she hardly pays any visit to any of her relatives. Basically she’s a woman who just spends her entire time with herself. She is just another housewife who spends most of her time at her home, cooking food, washing clothes, watching daily soap, buying vegetables and other such stuff.
