Seán Leahy is an award-nominated Irish director and screenwriter developing drama-based projects across short film, feature film, and high-end television.

He is a member of the Screen Directors Guild of Ireland, the Writers Guild of Ireland, and the Irish Film and Television Academy. His films have screened at festivals including Fastnet, IndieCork (BAFTA & IFTA qualifying), and the Catalyst International Film Festival (IFTA qualifying).

Leahy’s work focuses on narrative storytelling, crafting films that are character-driven, visually grounded, and emotionally resonant. He is currently developing new projects while continuing to support grassroots cinema in Cork through his role as Events Manager for The People’s Picturehouse Cork.
