Ghost Trail

Based on real events, this drama and thriller follows Hamid, a Syrian man living in Europe who belongs to a secret civilian network. This group tracks down former regime members and war criminals to bring them to justice. While in Strasbourg, Hamid believes he has found the man who tortured him during his imprisonment in Syria. Because he only remembers his tormentor's scent and voice, Hamid must rely on his intuition, leading him into a conflict between his desire for revenge and the pursuit of truth.

The film was directed by Jonathan Millet and Olivier Boonjing, with a screenplay written by Millet and Florence Rochat. It stars Adam Bessa as Hamid and Tawfeek Barhom as Harfaz, with supporting roles played by Julia Franz Richter, Hala Rajab, Shafiqa El Till, and Sylvain Samson. A joint production between Germany, Belgium, and France, the movie earned 1 million USD at the worldwide box office.
