What's left behind the scenes
- When Susannah Son's character smokes in the restroom, graffiti on the wall reads "Sarah Fier is alive." This refers to a 19th-century witch whose death cast a curse over the town of Shadyside.
- According to executive producer Lee Janiak, she wanted the fourth film in the franchise to be set in the 1950s and to center around Harry Ruker, nicknamed "The Milkman." These intentions were not realized, as the decision was made to follow the plots of the "Fear Street" book series more closely.
