Wifelike

Set in the near future, this science fiction thriller follows William, a grieving detective who tracks criminals selling artificial humans on the black market. To cope with the loss of his wife, William lives with Meredith, an android programmed to emulate his late spouse. However, an underground group fighting against the exploitation of artificial intelligence sabotages Meredith's programming. As a result, she begins to experience memories of a past life and starts to question her own reality.

Written and directed by James Bird, this film followed his earlier work, Honeyglue. The cast features Jonathan Rhys Meyers as William and Elena Kampouris as Meredith, alongside Doron Bell, Agam Darshi, Sara Sampaio, and Alix Villaret. Produced by Steven Paul and Scott Karol through Steven Paul Production, Wonder Street, and Front Street Pictures, the movie has a runtime of 105 minutes.
