Please Don't Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain

Three childhood friends share a house and work together at an outdoor equipment shop in a small town. Feeling stuck in the direction their lives have taken, they come across a treasure map and set out to find a legendary hoard of gold said to be hidden in a mountain near their home. The search turns into an adventure that changes their circumstances.

The film is the first feature from the comedy trio Please Don't Destroy, whose members Martin Herlihy, Ben Marshall and John Higgins wrote the screenplay and play the three leads. Paul Briganti directed, following his earlier film Speechless. Judd Apatow and Jimmy Miller produced for Universal Pictures and Apatow Productions, with Mosaic Media Group and Talent One also involved. The supporting cast includes Conan O'Brien, Bowen Yang and Megan Stalter, and 31 performers receive credit.

Released in November 2023, the film runs 92 minutes and mixes action and adventure with comedy. On IMDb it holds a rating of 6 out of 10 from around 12,000 votes, while on TMDB its rating is 6.2 out of 10 from roughly 174 votes, indicating modest but broadly similar audience responses across the two platforms, with the considerably larger vote count on IMDb giving that score more weight.
