Set in Spain during the late 1980s, this horror film follows Sara, a teenager struggling to fit into a tight-knit community after moving to a new town. While returning from a nightclub with her extroverted friend Rebe, the two encounter a small girl in a communion dress holding a doll. After the child disappears and they are left with the doll, the girls find themselves targeted by a vengeful spirit tied to a local urban legend, turning their lives into a nightmare.
The film was directed by Víctor García, appearing as the seventh entry in his directorial chronology following An Affair to Die For. The screenplay was written by Guillém Clua, and the production involved companies including TVE and Warner Bros. Entertainment España.
