Godzilla Minus Zero

Set in post-war Japan, this upcoming action and horror film follows a nation struggling to rebuild its society and reclaim normalcy two years after a devastating encounter with Godzilla. Just as a fragile peace is established, a new threat emerges to jeopardize the country's recovery. Former pilot Koichi Shikishima and Noriko must face this danger in a desperate fight for survival.

Directed and written by Takashi Yamazaki, this project is the 17th of 18 films in his chronological body of work, following his 2024 production Godzilla Minus One / Minus Color and preceding the 2028 film Grandgear. The movie is a Japanese production from TOHO, TOHO Studios, and Robot Communications. The cast features Ryunosuke Kamiki as Koichi Shikishima and Minami Hamabe as Noriko Oishi, alongside Yuki Yamada, Kuranosuke Sasaki, Miou Tanaka, and Sakura Ando. The film has a runtime of 135 minutes and is scheduled for release on November 3, 2026.
