Kids vs. Aliens

Gary wants to spend his time making home movies with his friends Jack and Miles, while his older sister Samantha would rather be around the popular crowd. With their parents away for a Halloween weekend, Samantha lets a cool older teenager, Billy, talk her into hosting a party at the house. The night turns dangerous when aliens arrive and attack, and the siblings have to put their differences aside and work together to get through it.

The film is directed by Jason Eisener, who wrote the screenplay with John Davies. It is the fifth feature in the chronological list of his directing credits, arriving after Grindhouse, Hobo with a Shotgun, V/H/S/2 and The ABCs of Death. Phoebe Rex and Dominic Mariche play Samantha and Gary, with Calem MacDonald as Billy, Asher Grayson and Ben Tector as Jack and Miles, and Emma Vickers as Trish. It runs 75 minutes and was released in January 2023.

Audience response has been modest: on IMDb it holds 5 out of 10 from around 1,900 votes, and on TMDB 5.3 out of 10 from a much smaller set of 88 votes. A critics' rating of 5.5 out of 10 from 39 reviews places it slightly above the audience scores.
