Singham Again

Singham Again continues the interconnected police universe built by director Rohit Shetty, bringing together several officers from earlier films in the series. Bajirao Singham, played by Ajay Devgn, leads the group when his wife Avni is taken by an antagonist known as Danger Lanka. The story draws on the good-versus-evil framework of the Ramayana as Singham joins forces with Sangram Bhalerao, Veer Sooryavanshi, Satya Bali and Shakti Shetty on a rescue mission.

The film sits between Sooryavanshi and a planned Golmaal 5 in Shetty's directing career, which includes four earlier Singham and related titles. Devgn also produced alongside Shetty and Jyoti Deshpande, and the screenplay comes from Kshitij Patwardhan, Sandeep Saket and Abhijeet Khuman. The large ensemble features Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Deepika Padukone among a credited cast of 78.

Released in November 2024, the action thriller runs 145 minutes and was made for about 41 million dollars, a large sum by Indian standards. Its worldwide gross of roughly 44 million dollars left only a modest margin over that cost. Audience response on TMDB stands at 5 out of 10 from 45 votes, a small sample suggesting limited enthusiasm. The film remains part of an ongoing franchise rather than a standalone story.
