Inside Man

Inspired by true events, this crime thriller follows Bobby Belucci, a New York police detective whose life unravels after discovering his wife is having an affair. Following a violent reaction to the news, Bobby is demoted and seeks to redeem himself in the eyes of his superiors. He attempts to do so by going undercover within the DeMeo crew, a brutal wing of the Gambino crime family active during the 1960s and 1970s. As he works to expose the corruption and murders led by Roy DeMeo, Bobby finds himself sinking deeper into the criminal underworld, where the cost of his absolution becomes increasingly dangerous.

The film was directed by Danny A. Abeckaser, who also stars as Roy DeMeo. This production is the third in a chronological series of films directed by Abeckaser, following Mob Town and The Engineer. The cast includes Emile Hirsch as the lead detective, alongside Ashley Greene, Lucy Hale, Kyle Stefanski, and Greg Finley. The screenplay was written by Kosta Kondilopoulos. Audience reception has been mixed, with the film receiving a 5.6 rating on IMDb from 2,100 votes and a slightly higher score of 6.1 on TMDB based on 82 votes.
