Detective Knight: Rogue

Detective James Knight is a veteran officer with the Los Angeles Police Department. As the city readies itself for Halloween, a crew of armed robbers wearing masks pulls off a heist, and a shootout leaves Knight's partner badly wounded. Knight takes up the chase, following the gang from Los Angeles to New York. There, the case forces him to confront a troubled history of his own, while his new partner works alongside him.

The film is directed by Edward Drake, who wrote the screenplay with Corey Large. It is the fifth feature Drake directed, following Broil, Apex, Cosmic Sin and American Siege, and it launched a trilogy of Detective Knight films, with Redemption and Independence arriving later in the same year. Bruce Willis plays Knight, heading a cast that includes Lochlyn Munro, Jimmy Jean-Louis, Beau Mirchoff, Corey Large and Michael Eklund. Corey Large and Randall Emmett produced; Lionsgate was among the production companies.

Released in October 2022 and running 105 minutes, the film drew 2,500 votes on IMDb for a rating of 3.9 out of 10, while on TMDB it holds 6 out of 10 from 199 votes. A critics' rating of 5 out of 10 from seven reviews sits between those two audience figures, with the small review sample and the much larger IMDb turnout pointing to sharply divided reactions.
