The OctoGames

Eight aspiring influencers compete in a series of eight traditional children's games to win the digital empire of a mysterious, masked content creator named JaxPro. While the participants initially seek the massive fame and followers associated with the channel, they soon discover that the competition is lethal. Those who lose the games are killed, leaving only one survivor to inherit the social media presence of the elusive host.

Written, produced, and directed by Aaron Mirtes, this action horror thriller was the first of four films he directed, preceding Alien Hunt, Whiskey Run, and Wicked of Oz. The movie was produced in the United States by Exit 10 Films, LLC and High Octane Pictures. The cast features Lacy Hartselle as Carrie, Cale Adcock as Squish, Luv Patel as AJ, Henry Haggard as Walt, Allison Shrum as Maxine, and Alice Raver as Ruth.

Released on October 7, 2022, with a runtime of 88 minutes, the film received a poor reception from audiences. It holds a rating of 3.3/10 on IMDb based on 1,200 votes and a slightly higher score of 5.3/10 on TMDB from 136 votes.
