- According to costume designer Jennifer Johnson, the appearance of Willem Dafoe's character in the first story was inspired by the appearance of Italian industrialist Gianni Agnelli in the 1970s.
- Director and screenwriter Yorgos Lanthimos filmed this movie in New Orleans, Louisiana, during the post-production of 'Poor Things'. Since 'Poor Things' was filmed exclusively in soundstages, Lanthimos decided to shoot his next film on location.
