The Currents

Lina is a successful Argentine fashion designer who travels to Switzerland to receive a prestigious award. During her trip, she impulsively jumps from a bridge into a cold river. After returning home to Buenos Aires, she keeps the incident a secret, but she begins to suffer from a physical fear of water that disrupts her daily life. This internal shift slowly brings back buried memories and a past she believed she had left behind.

The drama was written and directed by Milagros Mumenthaler. It is a co-production between Argentina and Switzerland involving RTS, Ruda Cine, and Alina Film. The film stars Isabel Aimé González Sola as Lina Campbell, appearing alongside Esteban Bigliardi, Claudia Sánchez, Ernestina Gatti, Jazmín Carballo, and Sara Bessio. In total, 23 cast members are credited in the 104-minute production.
