My First Film

A young filmmaker named Vita looks back on the creation of her first feature movie from fifteen years earlier. The story focuses on the difficulties she faced while directing a semi-autobiographical project starring her friend Dina. Because Vita was enthusiastic but lacked experience, the production became chaotic and absurd, eventually resulting in numerous disruptions and a nearly fatal accident.

This drama was directed by Zia Anger, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Billy Feldman. The film stars Odessa Young in the role of Vita, with Devon Ross as Dina, and includes performances by Cole Doman, Sage Ftacek, Jane Wickline, and Seth Steinberg.
