Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Venturing Out

Sakuta is finishing his second year of high school, while his partner Mai is nearing her graduation. As their remaining time together in school dwindles, Sakuta's sister, Kaede, begins venturing outdoors again. She sets a major goal to enroll in her brother's high school. Although Sakuta wants to support her, he worries about the difficulty of this challenge and whether it is truly in her best interest.

Directed by Souichi Masui, this Japanese animation blends drama and fantasy. It follows his previous projects, including Crayon Shin-chan: Fierceness That Invites Storm! Operation Golden Spy (2011), Crayon Shin-chan: Fierceness That Invites Storm! Me and the Space Princess (2012), Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl (2019), and Rascal Does Not Dream of a Knapsack Kid (2023). Masahiro Yokotani wrote the screenplay. The voice cast features Kaito Ishikawa, Asami Seto, Yurika Kubo, Nao Toyama, Atsumi Tanezaki, and Maaya Uchida.
