Sweeter Than Chocolate

A chocolatier in a provincial town faces a steep rent increase and needs to boost sales, though she is reluctant to advertise because of her superstitious nature. Her best friend posts an enthusiastic online review of the Cupids, a little-known chocolate specialty created by the chocolatier's grandfather and said to have magical properties. A reporter for a small local channel is assigned to cover the shop and its reputedly magical chocolates, and he approaches the story with scepticism.

Sweeter Than Chocolate is a Canadian-American television comedy and romance directed by David Weaver, written by Kim Beyer-Johnson and Tracy Andreen and produced by Charles Cooper. Eloise Mumford plays Lucy Sweet, with Dan Jeannotte as Dean Chase, Brenda Strong as Helen Sweet, Jordana Summer as Georgie, Linda Ko as Nora Nguyen and Nik Andrews as Wyatt Greggs. It was released in February 2023 and runs 84 minutes.
