Goodbye Vinyle

Set in France during the late 1950s, this thriller centers on Eve Faugère, a glamorous singer at the height of her fame. She is caught in a volatile triangle with her husband, the writer who helped build her career, and her passionate pianist and lover. As jealousy intensifies, the three become entangled in a calculated and dangerous plot. Simultaneously, an ambitious young singer named Florence seeks to displace Eve, only to find herself caught in the same destructive game.

The film was directed by Josée Dayan, who also directed Milady in 2004. The production features Isabelle Adjani as Eve Faugère, Mathieu Amalric as Maurice Faugère, and Matthieu Dessertine as Jean Leprat. The cast also includes Barbara Pravi as Florence and Jacques Bonnaffé as Commissioner Borel.
