Despatch

Despatch is a drama and thriller set in Mumbai. The story follows a man named Joy who travels through the city in an attempt to uncover a major news story while simultaneously trying to resolve the difficulties in his personal life.

The film was directed by Kanu Behl, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Ishani Banerjee. This project marks the first in a chronological sequence of Behl's directed works, preceding the 2025 film Agra. Produced by Ronnie Screwvala through RSVP Movies, the production features Manoj Bajpayee in the lead role as Joy Deb. The supporting cast includes Shahana Goswami as Shweta Varma, Archita Agarwal as Prerna Prakash, Anand Alkunte as SI Bhonsle, Mamik Singh as Silva, and Riju Bajaj as Tarun Khaitan. The movie has a total runtime of 151 minutes.
