Kaamelott: The Second Chapter (Part I)

Following the liberation of Kaamelott from Lancelot's oppressive rule, King Arthur chooses to spare Lancelot's life. This decision puts him at odds with the Celtic gods and brings new dangers to the Kingdom of Logres. To strengthen his realm, Arthur establishes a new Round Table, requiring both seasoned veterans and inexperienced recruits to travel across various lands to prove their worth.

Written and directed by Alexandre Astier, who also stars as Arthur Pendragon, this French production is the fourth film in his directing career. It follows his previous work on two Asterix films and the first Kaamelott movie. The cast includes Jean-Christophe Hembert, Thomas Cousseau, Anne Girouard, Christian Clavier, and Joëlle Sevilla, supported by a total of 57 credited actors and 79 crew members.

Produced by SND, Beside Productions, and Regular Production with a budget of 20 million USD, the film combines elements of adventure, comedy, fantasy, and history. Since its release in October 2025, it has received a moderate reception from viewers, holding a 6/10 rating on TMDB based on 128 votes.
