Following a prison sentence for murder, Adam returns to his former neighborhood to find the son he has never met and attempt to start over. His efforts toward redemption are threatened by the brother of his victim, who is seeking revenge. Meanwhile, a man named Mike struggles to distance himself from a life of crime and the influence of his uncle, who is involved in drug trafficking. The lives of these men eventually intersect, leading to a conflict between cycles of violence and the possibility of forgiveness.
