Hannah is a young fashion designer whose hidden self-doubt and dark inner thoughts manifest as a growing physical creature on her body. As this entity strengthens, it worsens her health and fuels anxieties regarding her professional talent and her relationships with her parents, boyfriend, and best friend. After reaching a breaking point, Hannah discovers that she is not the only person experiencing this phenomenon.
