Srikanth

Srikanth is a biographical drama about Srikanth Bolla, a man who refuses to let blindness define the limits of his life. Growing up in rural India, he pushes past the expectations placed on him and eventually becomes the first visually impaired student to study at MIT. Later, as he founds and builds Bollant Industries, his success creates new pressures, and his aims widen from personal ambition to securing a future for others who face the same obstacles. The film blends his professional rise with the toll it takes on those close to him.

Tushar Hiranandani directs from a screenplay by Jagdeep Sidhu and Sumit Purohit, with Rajkummar Rao in the title role. Jyothika, Alaya F, Sharad Kelkar and Anusha Nuthula appear alongside him. Made on a budget of about four million dollars by T-Series and Chalk and Cheese Films, the film was released in May 2024 and runs 134 minutes.
