Smile 2

Smile 2 follows Skye Riley, a global pop star preparing to launch a world tour after a year away from the stage. As rehearsals and promotional duties pile up, she is troubled by disturbing, inexplicable events that grow harder to dismiss. The pressure of her comeback collides with a past she would rather leave behind, and she struggles to hold her life together as it threatens to come apart.

Parker Finn wrote and directed the film, his second feature after Smile (2022) and the second entry in that series. Naomi Scott plays Skye, with Rosemarie DeWitt as Elizabeth Riley, Lukas Gage as Lewis, Miles Gutierrez-Riley as Joshua, Peter Jacobson as Morris and Ray Nicholson as Paul Hudson. Marty Bowen, Wyck Godfrey and Isaac Klausner produced for Paramount, Temple Hill Entertainment and Bad Feeling.

Released in October 2024, the film runs 127 minutes and cost about 28 million dollars, going on to earn roughly 138 million worldwide. It sits at 6.7/10 on IMDb from around 138,000 votes and 6.6/10 on TMDB from a much smaller pool of users. A critics' rating of 6.9/10 from 213 reviews places professional response slightly above the audience averages.
