Good Burger 2

Good Burger 2 catches up with Dexter Reed, whose latest invention has flopped and left him broke and without a place to stay. His old friend Ed, now running the fast-food restaurant where they once worked together, takes him in and gives him his job back. Surrounded by a new crew of employees, Dexter works out a way to get himself back on his feet, but the scheme puts the restaurant's future in danger all over again. The film is a sequel to the 1997 comedy Good Burger, with Kel Mitchell returning as Ed and Kenan Thompson as Dexter; Lil Rel Howery, Kamaia Fairburn, Jillian Bell and Alex Hibbert appear among the supporting cast. Phil Traill directed, working from a screenplay by Heath Seifert, Kevin Kopelow and James III, and Mitchell, Thompson and Shauna Phelan produced.

The film was released in November 2023 and runs 90 minutes. It comes third in Traill's directing credits, after All About Steve in 2009 and Chalet Girl in 2011. Audience response has been modest and divided: on IMDb it holds 5.3/10 from around 4,600 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 6.3/10 from roughly 121 votes. The two scores suggest a small, somewhat warmer group of viewers alongside a larger and more mixed one. The credited cast of 60 and crew of 111 reflect a mid-sized production, and as a family comedy continuing a well-known Nickelodeon property, the film trades on the reunion of its two leads.
