Juror #2

Juror #2 centres on Justin Kemp, a family man called for jury duty in a prominent murder trial in Georgia. As the case unfolds, he comes to suspect he has a personal connection to the victim's death and faces a moral dilemma: he could steer the jury toward convicting or freeing the accused, or he could reveal what he knows. The prosecutor, Faith Killebrew, is running for office, while a fellow juror, Harold, takes a keen interest in the proceedings.

The film is directed by Clint Eastwood, the fortieth film he has directed in chronological order, following Cry Macho (2021). Jonathan Abrams wrote the screenplay, and the cast includes Nicholas Hoult as Justin Kemp, Toni Collette as Faith Killebrew, J.K. Simmons as Harold, Chris Messina as Eric Resnick, Gabriel Basso as James Michael Sythe, and Zoey Deutch as Allison Crewson, among 36 credited cast members.

Released in October 2024, the drama and thriller runs 114 minutes and was produced by Warner Bros. Pictures, Malpaso Productions and Dichotomy Films. Made for about 30 million dollars, it took roughly 21 million dollars worldwide. On IMDb it holds 7 out of 10 from around 123,000 votes, and on TMDB 6.9 out of 10 from 2,649 votes. A critics' rating of 7.4 out of 10 from 183 reviews places it somewhat above the audience scores.
