A couple preparing to open a cafe in New Orleans discovers an ancient divination board used to summon spirits. After the artifact is used, a dark force takes hold of Emily, leading to a series of tragedies and a struggle for her soul. Her fiancé, Christian, seeks the assistance of an occult expert named Alexander Babtiste, though this man harbors his own secret motives and connections to the supernatural.

The horror film was directed by Chuck Russell, who also co-wrote the screenplay. This project follows his previous work on Paradise City (2022). The movie stars Madison Iseman, Aaron Domínguez, and Jamie Campbell Bower, with a credited cast of 42 performers. Produced by Highland Film Group, Blue Rider Pictures, A-Nation Media, and Gala Film, the production had a budget of 6 million USD.
