Set in a totalitarian society under the rule of Big Brother, this science fiction drama depicts a world of constant surveillance where personal freedom is absent. In this environment, imagination is viewed as a medical condition and art is systematically destroyed. The story follows a talented mathematician who enters into a forbidden relationship with a coworker and discovers a clandestine resistance movement. He must ultimately decide whether to support the rebels or betray them to the state.
