Stree 2

Set in the town of Chanderi, Stree 2 continues the story that began with Stree. The community once more finds itself under threat, this time from a headless presence that abducts women without explanation. Vicky and his circle of friends take it upon themselves to protect their town and the people they care about, facing a danger that targets those closest to them.

Amar Kaushik directed the film, which came after Bhediya in his filmography and before Mahavatar. Niren Bhatt wrote the screenplay, with Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande producing for Maddock Films and Jio Studios. Rajkummar Rao leads as Vicky, alongside Shraddha Kapoor, Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee, Pankaj Tripathi and Anya Singh among a credited cast of twenty-three. The film blends comedy and horror across a runtime of 143 minutes and was released in August 2024.

On IMDb, the film holds a rating of 6.9 from around 46,000 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 6.7 from a much smaller voter base. A critics' rating of 6.1 from fourteen reviews places it slightly below both audience scores, suggesting viewers responded to it a little more warmly than reviewers did.
