Winnie Carruthers saved her town from a maniac on Christmas Eve, and a year later her life has come apart. Wishing she had never been born, she is transported into a nightmarish parallel version of her hometown where she never existed and the killer is loose again. To return to her own reality, she has to work out who is responsible, aided by an awkward local misfit.

It's a Wonderful Knife is a 2023 American comedy-horror film directed by Tyler MacIntyre, the sixth feature in his filmography after Identité Secrète, Patchwork, Tragedy Girls, Good Boy and his segment of V/H/S/99. Michael Kennedy wrote the screenplay and produced alongside Seth Caplan and Daniel Bekerman. Jane Widdop leads as Winnie, with Jess McLeod, Joel McHale, Katharine Isabelle, William B. Davis and Justin Long among the 23 credited cast members; 101 crew are credited.

Released in November 2023, the film runs 87 minutes. On IMDb it holds 5.2 out of 10 across roughly 9,700 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 5 out of 10 from about 200 votes. A critics' rating of 5.6 out of 10 from 85 reviews places it slightly above the audience scores, though all three measures sit in mixed territory.
