Colors of Evil: Red

When the body of a young woman washes ashore on a beach in Poland's Tricity area, the unusual injuries point to murder. An ambitious prosecutor, Leopold Bilski, takes charge of the case, and the victim's mother, the judge Helena Bogucka, joins his search for the truth. The leads converge on a seaside nightclub connected to the killing of a woman fifteen years earlier, and as the two dig into buried evidence, their findings begin to unsettle the local police.

Colors of Evil: Red is a Polish crime drama from 2024, directed by Adrian Panek, who wrote the screenplay with Łukasz M. Maciejewski. It is the first of his two films about this story, followed by Colors of Evil: Black in 2026. Jakub Gierszał plays Bilski and Maja Ostaszewska plays Bogucka, with Zofia Jastrzębska, Andrzej Konopka, Przemysław Bluszcz and Wojciech Zieliński among the credited cast of 39. The production, from Aurum Film, runs 112 minutes.
