In a Whisper

Lilia returns to Tunisia to attend her uncle's funeral, bringing her back into contact with a family unaware of her personal life in Paris. As she attempts to investigate the circumstances surrounding her uncle's sudden passing, she encounters various hidden family secrets. This process forces her to confront the reasons she originally left her home country while navigating relationships across three generations of women.

The drama was written and directed by Leyla Bouzid, marking her second feature following A Tale of Love and Desire from 2021. Produced by UNITÉ, the film is a joint production between Tunisia and France.
