Better Together

Jesse Brandt, a high school senior nursing a broken heart, sets out with his closest friends on a journey his father left behind. Their hunt for a mysterious place called Zion Point and a legendary meteor shower turns into a trip about loyalty, working out who they are, and finding hope again.

Better Together is a drama from the United States, directed by Kyle William Roberts and written by Sean Thiessen. Kim Dawson, Tracie Burgess and Roberts produced it for Reckless Abandonment Pictures. Gattlin Griffith plays Jesse, with Bart Johnson as Jonathan Brandt, Ricardo Hurtado as Billy Brandt, Giselle Torres as Reena Jones, Katie Burgess as Savannah Brandt and LaRonn Marzett as Eli Foster. The film runs 103 minutes and was released on May 15, 2026.

Roberts has directed a small number of features, and this one continues his move into ensemble-led, relationship-driven drama. The cast mixes younger leads with more established performers, and the production was handled independently rather than through a major studio.
