13 Bombs

13 Bombs is an action crime thriller that follows an organization attempting to identify the person responsible for planting 13 explosives throughout Jakarta. The group must find the perpetrator quickly to prevent the city from descending into total disorder.

Directed by Angga Dwimas Sasongko, this film was released in 2023 and precedes his work on Heartbreak Motel. Sasongko also co-wrote the screenplay alongside Mohammad Irfan Ramly, with Taufan Adryan serving as producer. The movie is a co-production between Indonesia and Korea, involving production companies such as Visinema Pictures, Barunson E&A, Legacy Pictures, and INDODAX. The main cast features Chicco Kurniawan as Oscar Darmawan and Ardhito Pramono as William Sutanto, supported by Lutesha, Muhammad Khan, Putri Ayudya, and Ganindra Bimo. A total of 49 actors are credited in the production.

Financially, the film did not recoup its 5 million USD budget, earning 2 million USD at the worldwide box office. Audience reception has been generally positive, as reflected by a 6.6/10 rating from 2,000 votes on IMDb and a 7/10 rating from 33 votes on TMDB.
