What's left behind the scenes
- The White Worm's skull was made from a cow's skull. Sculptural overlays were added to the original skull, and the cow's teeth were removed and replaced with artificial ones resembling snake fangs.
- A total of two skulls were made for the filming of the movie.
- The White Worm's mouth, visible in the tunnel shortly before the film's finale, was painted onto the hood of a Volkswagen Beetle.
