Short description

When an archaeologist uncovers a strange skull in a foreign land, the residents of a nearby town begin to disappear, leading to further inexplicable occurrences.

What's left behind the scenes

  • The White Worm's skull was made from a cow's skull. Sculptural overlays were added to the original skull, and the cow's teeth were removed and replaced with artificial ones resembling snake fangs.
  • A total of two skulls were made for the filming of the movie.
  • The White Worm's mouth, visible in the tunnel shortly before the film's finale, was painted onto the hood of a Volkswagen Beetle.
  • The White Worm's skull was made from a cow's skull. Sculptural overlays were added to the real skull, and the cow's teeth were removed and replaced with artificial ones resembling snake teeth. A total of two skulls were made for the film.
